This 32 Piece kit provides great savings at low cost. The kit reduces utility bills in three ways: by reducing electrical consumption, by reducing heating and air-conditioning costs and by reducing water use. Pays for itself in just months with energy savings. Energy savings continue year after year. The Econosaver kit is ideal for those who rent or own a smaller home. It also makes a great gift!
Easy installation in half a day. Includes instructions for use and the booklet, "Energy Savers -- Tips on Saving Energy and Money at Home" by The US Department Of Energy.
Kit includes the following:
Savings assumptions are based on reduced wattage formulas, standard US Department of Energy figures for air infiltration and heat loss, water flow reduction formulas and various other accepted rules of thumb. Your actual savings could be more or less depending on how much you pay for utilities. Water conservation measures assume that you pay for water and sewer. Water conservation measures will still result in electrical savings for those that pump their own water. Utility rates assumed are; electrical 10 cents per kWh, gas 55cents per CCF (therm) and water $2.00 per 1000 gallons ( water and sewer ).
