Halogen Bulbs

Halogens have a greater light output than standard incandescent bulbs, they are very versatile (used in everyday, working or accent lighting), and produce very crisp, white light.
Halogen bulbs work like any incandescent bulb in that electricity heats the tungsten filament, causing it to glow. As it glows, tungsten particles evaporate into the surrounding glass container. When the tungsten interacts with the halogen, it condenses back onto the tungsten filament, enabling it to have a longer life.
