Yeah, sure. We've all heard that type of pitch before. Same old story, right? Wrong. I originally didn't buy into the hype surrounding the new Fresh2Ti bulb because it sounded too good to be true. Technical specs on products are well and good but the one thing that can sway my opinion is true, real-world experience.
Recently, a close associate of mine had a kitchen fire at his home. Something on the stove caught fire and the flames leapt up and began igniting the cabinets. After unsuccessful attempts to put out the fire, he dragged the stove out the back door. He finally beat the fire out with towels but the damage had been done. The cabinets were charred and house smelled of thick smoke.
He had a 2-pack of the new Fresh2Ti bulbs and decided to see if they could really help. They are reported to remove odors through an ionization process but he thought this was a much too severe case. He plugged them in and left them on for 48 hours straight.
Lo and behold, the smoke smell was actually removed!
The 23-Watt compact fluorescent Fresh2Ti
bulbs have a rated life of 10,000 hours and are reported to remove odors in restrooms, closets, workout rooms and damp-smelling areas for up to 3 years!
I guess the real test of odor removal for me will be when I put the Fresh2Ti in my son's room. If his
old tennis shoes miraculously disappear, I'm sold!
