New Cold Cathode Dimmable and LED Bulbs
Friday, April 29 @ 14:15:21 EDT
by Mark
For all of the people who have searched for an energy-saving replacement bulb to use in dimmable chandelier fixtures, WattBusters finally has the ticket. We just acquired the TCP cold cathode line of light bulbs. The bulbs are excellent for dimming and rapid on/off cycling applications and they use either 3 or 5 Watts. Light output is roughly equivalent to 15 - 30 Watt incandescent bulbs.

The FlameTip series is a sharp looking bulb that comes in medium or candelabra base and has clear, frosted or white coatings. The bulbs dim very smoothly and are a great energy-saver for any multi-light chandelier. The rated life is 25,000 hours so you pretty much install them and forget them.

WattBusters would like to announce that we are carrying two products approved for sale by the NFL for Super Bowl XL. The 40th matchup will be held at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on February 5, 2006. The $300 million Ford Field, which opened in 2002, is carved into the famous Hudson's warehouse and offers a spectacular view of downtown Detroit through its steel, glass and brick structure. The stadium is located in the city's "Foxtown" entertainment district adjacent to Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers. The 1.3 million square foot facility has 65,000 seats and 113 luxury suites and promises the best site lines of any NFL stadium.

Tuesday, December 28 @ 17:51:26 EST
by mark
Are you one of those people that just love new gizmos? WattBusters now carries an extremely cool product that combines LED technology with a motion sensor AND a photocell. The new LED Motion Sensor Light by Greenlite USA runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included) and doesn't require wiring.  It's portable, and can be placed or mounted anywhere you need immediate light. It stays on for approximately 30 seconds after motion disappears or after you turn on a light.

Life with the Fresh2Ti
Tuesday, June 08 @ 17:21:09 EDT
by webmaster
"Come one, come all. Dr. Snaggle's Snake Oil Potion creates brilliant light AND gets rid of horrible odors at the same time!"

Yeah, sure. We've all heard that type of pitch before. Same old story, right? Wrong. I originally didn't buy into the hype surrounding the new Fresh2Ti bulb because it sounded too good to be true. Technical specs on products are well and good but the one thing that can sway my opinion is true, real-world experience.
