| Portable Motion Sensor LED Light For Everyone |
Are you one of those people that just love new gizmos?
WattBusters now carries an extremely cool product that combines LED technology with a motion sensor AND a photocell.
The new LED Motion Sensor Light by Greenlite USA runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included) and doesn't require wiring. It's portable, and can be placed or mounted anywhere you need immediate light. It stays on for approximately 30 seconds after motion disappears or after you turn on a light.
I was able to test one of the first motion sensor lights we
received and I have to say, I had a blast. I made a game out of finding
spots in my home that have no light and seeing whether this product would be
bright enough to actually help. Placing it in the sock drawer in the
bedroom was good enough to make my wife jump (I didn't tell her I put it
there). Setting it in the closet startled the wife... I'm 2 for 2. I
positioned it on a shelf in the kitchen in the path to the fridge. Too
bad it didn't have an audio alarm. That would have made it an effective
weight-loss device. "Pumpkin pie alert! Whooop-whooop."
How bright is it? Well, it's not a replacement for a
regular incandescent or compact fluorescent bulb but it's very bright.
Much brighter than an LED nightlight. No more fumbling for the
pull-chain in the closet. We don't even have a wired light in the closet
but my wife was able to find a particular pair of shoes (one of
hundreds!) at the bottom of the closet. No more stumbling to the
bathroom in the dark. With the unit placed in the hallway, it kicked on
as soon as we opened the bedroom door. It even shed enough light from
the top of the stairwell to find the light switches on the opposite
wall.
The light attaches with included velcro fasteners so you won't
need any mounting hardware or tools. It uses a long life, white LED so
there is no bulb to replace and the LED Motion Sensor light is
guaranteed for 2 years.
For use:
- Inside cabinets
- Closets
- Drawers
- Storage spaces
- Under shelves
- Hallways
- Stairwells
- Entranceways
- Anywhere you have the need for immediate light
Whether it's for safety, functionality or fun, this LED Motion Sensor Light makes a great gift any time of the year for under $15.
